A Florida man named Jack Moss has released footage from a Betamax tape of the only amateur footage of the Challenger Shuttle disaster that occurred 24 years ago. Jack Moss, who passed away in December 2009, handed the tape over to The Space Exploration Archive a week before his death.

The footage shown above shows Jack’s position about 70 miles away from the disaster location over Cape Canaveral.
