New 2010 Penny design unveiled

You may recall that in 2009, the US Mint released 4 new Pennies into circulation. Well, the US Mint is back again with a new Penny design that uses a Union shield on the back with a scroll draped across it. The scroll shield says E PLURIBUS UNUM (“out of many, one”) and the shield has 13 stripes to represent the states that made up the original United States.

Expect to see these floating around in your pocket soon.
