Cynical-C posted this great video of a table with a bunch of tiny compasses under the surface. Using coasters with tiny magnets attached to them, you can literally watch the compasses go crazy as the coasters slide around the surface.
It’s a pretty neat project and one that you can build yourself if you follow these instructions from Instructables.
