San Francisco/New York-based artist Dan Kenneally has a totally awesome series of paintings called Lunchbox that uses a single colored stripe to indicate different ingredients in a sandwich. It’s super-simple and very well done. I never thought I could recognize a sandwich just based solely on its colors. Check out the project here.
