Christoph Niemann, the man behind The New York Times’ Abstract City blog, and whose work I’ve featured here previously, has published a book with his whimsical takes on New York City architecture in LEGOs.
The new book called I LEGO N.Y. (Abrams Image) is a thick-paged abstract view of some very iconic New York establishments like The Empire State Building, The Holland Tunnel, taxicabs, and even local food favorites.
It’s a fun book that’s great for the coffee table of those who already live in New York City as well as those who don’t. Pick it up at Amazon for just over $10. You can’t beat that price!
