The Impossible Project, the savior of the Polaroid film, has just started selling brand-new packs of Polaroid film for $21 a pack. Each PX 100 pack is made specifically for the older SX-70 cameras and provide you with 8 black and white exposures.
The new film won’t have the Polaroid logo on it (because it’s not technically made by Polaroid anymore), but it will mostly work the exact same way as previous film packs. If you want to read more about the new PX 100 film, you can check out the PX 100 mini site here.
It’s a pretty high price to pay for manufactured nostalgia if you ask me.
I was looking forward to welcoming color packs of sx-70 blend, not black and white and for $21 I’m probably not going to even mess around with it.
It will be expensive but arty and then they will introduce a lower priced less arty film that will sell to the lady gaga loving masses.
