The United States Mint has just unveiled 5 brand-new Quarter designs to join the already numerous Quarters in circulation. The new program called America The Beautiful will highlight some of the United States’ most treasured national parks.

The 5 Quarters will have the familiar portrait of George Washington on one side and the back side will feature the following places: Hot Springs National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, The Grand Canyon, and Mount Hood National Forest.

Expect the first new Quarter (Hot Springs National Park) to go into circulation April 19, 2010.
