Yikes this is just scary. A user on Reddit posted photos of a giant isopod that was attached to a contractor’s submarine during a deep-sea expedition. Apparently, from my very brief research on the net, these giant isopods are the roly-poly’s of the ocean world (they are part of related creature families).

Wow. These guys totally obliterate the inside of this train with SDK tags and graffiti. I wonder if it’s hard to tag out of a moving train’s window. Wouldn’t the spray paint just fly everywhere?

The remix’s of this song (specifically the Thomas Gold remix) are superb, but the original song here isn’t half bad either. Reminds me of Australia…

The Flowing City Coaster is a fun drink coaster that uses the falling condensation from your cup to create little tiny rivers within a city grid. They’re not the cheapest of coasters you can get ($12 for a set of 2), but they do serve as a great conversation piece over coffee or tea. [via]
