Back in 2005, Drake Martinet created what is generally believed to be the world’s first solar-powered Timbuk2 messenger bag. Since then, he’s learned a thing or two about the process and lately he’s been hard at work on the second version of a solar-powered bag, this time using a Timbuk2 Swig backpack. [via]
