Veerle Pieters has a great read about the design of the icons and splash screens coming up in Adobe CS5. In it, she says that the designers are going back to more graphical splash screens and incorporating a sort of two-colored squares approach to the individual application icons.
The actual icons haven’t been revealed yet, but you can expect them to keep the same color scheme so you don’t have to relearn all the visual icons for your apps.
i did like the cs4-icons and whole layout a lot. This predicted version would be aweful. But perhaps they only throw the typo out of the cs4-version, that could look nice. 7 Days left to know… :)
