Last year, I posted about the beautiful looking Blockhead Stem from cw&t. It was an open-source Creative Commons project which meant that you could download the entire spec sheet and modify it however you wish — something that I’ve never seen any other bicycle manufacturer do with their parts.

Now, cw&t have unveiled this new Blockhead Stem IB with a tiny brake lever that is mostly hidden away so as to not distract from the simple form of the bicycle frame. The part is now on sale at their website for $169 in case you don’t have an industrial machine to carve one yourself from the plans.
