Gizmodo’s got a video of the much-improved LittleDog, the smart all-terrain robot from DARPA and the University of Southern California (The LittleDog is sort of like a smaller version of BigDog from Boston Dynamics). In the video above, watch as LittleDog adjusts to unforeseen terrain and uneven ground and yet continues to travel to its intended destination. It’s even got special moves for extreme terrain (see: leaping in the video above). Pretty neat. If these ever get sold as consumer units I’d get one.
