I picked up Sidney Lo’s book Taking Pictures of People Who Take Pictures of Themselves on Friday at his Self Edge book launch party. I was able to meet him for a few minutes and he seemed like a pretty enthusiastic entrepreneur, going so far as to self-publish this album of photographs of people from the fashion forum known as Superfuture.

Sidney traveled the world documenting the people that regularly contribute the Superfuture forums with a photo in response to a common question: “What are you wearing today?”

That question, along with many, many responses, has brought Sidney face to face with otherwise anonymous contributors to a global fashion resource. Through Taking Pictures of People Who Take Pictures of Themselves, Sidney reveals these faces and gets snippets about their personality in a very well put together book.
