YouTube now supports 4k videos

For most people, 1080p is about all they need for high definition video. But if you’re meticulous about detail and own some high-end video display equipment, you’ll be happy to know that YouTube now supports full-resolution 4k videos. You probably won’t notice a difference on a regular computer (other than lag time) but know that from here on in, if you shoot 4k video, YouTube will let you play it back at that size. Just hit “Original” in the video player settings to get it done!

    yeah slow to load and doesnt play back well even with a 512mb video card. it will be 10 years before this is really a household thing and were all buying new tvs
