Cinema Blend has a neat chart/poster that lays out the dream states within the spectacular movie Inception. The chart should only be viewed by those who have already seen the movie because looking at this chart prior to seeing the film can/will severely ruin the experience (think Sixth Sense-kind of ruin).

The explosion kick on the snow fortress level doesn’t make sense to me. Why is that even needed?
Ariadne and Fischer get out of limbo by jumping off the building, and the rest of the gang wakes up from the snow fortress level when the elevator drops.
The kick from the snow fortress wakes them up in the elevator, the freefall from that wakes them up in the van, then they wait for the machine on the plane to end.
I think thats right.
As for the spinning top, remember when Saito walks in on him in the toilets? I’ll just plant that thought there
