I’ve posted a video once before about how skateboards are made, but this particular video above goes into the DSM skateboarding factory — the factory that makes most boards on the professional market — and shows us exactly what goes into the boards pros are riding. [via]

My name is Richard and I work with the Brain Injury Global Picnic. This is a venture being organised by hundreds of brain injury survivors, our cares and some professional health providers.
The aim of the picnics is to unite every brain injury organization across the world on one day, the 30th June 2012, to raise awareness about the common issues surrounding brain injury and disability. What we are hoping for is to have so many people attending and organising picnics that we create media interest and from there we can ask them to help us educate the public, our medical professionals and public service providers about brain injury.
We want to stop people from falling through the gaps, to bring the ‘hidden disability’ out into the open, bring an end to the ‘silent epidemic’ and to help people re-evaluate their attitudes towards disability.
The Brain Injury Association of New Zealand are invited to join us
