I had no idea that lasers could be dangerous to DSLR sensors, but ISO50 posted video proof of lasers at a concert totally ruining a Canon EOS 5D Mark II’s sensor. As you watch the video above, make note of when the laser passes over the sensor and then immediately after you’ll see a sensor artifact stay on screen (more or less rendering the camera useless).
