Oh wow! Normally, machined metal cases like this cost a fortune, but Karas Kustoms, the same folks who brought us that nice machined aluminum toy car, is only selling these rad iPhone 4 cases for $39! Should I get one just for the hell of it?!

So this is fun. It turns out you can replicate the DROID sound bite from the commercials on a Mac. All you have to do is open Terminal and then type in the following and Enter: say -v “Cellos” “droid” Of course, you can change anything in between the second quotes to whatever you want, [...]

Check out University of Pennsylvania’s autonomous quadrotor flying robot (a project of their GRASP lab). It looks like you can basically launch it any which way you want and the robot will find itself upright and flying within seconds. It’s tiny and has incredible maneuvering capabilities. You gotta see the video! Thanks Nirmal!

Reddit user drunkencow snapped this photo of an amusing sign at the local Borders Bookstore. For what it’s worth, I bet this Zerg-made “Strawberry Lemony” tastes real good.

As far as rugged bags go, this might be one of the best. It’s an overnight bag made entirely out of a fireman’s suit. It’s pricey — $459 — but hey, do you know anybody else who has one of these?
