NY/NJ transit riders can soon pay fares on their mobile phone

NY and NJ transit riders on select lines will soon be able to pay for their subway and train rides with Visa’s payWave service on their mobile phones. The pilot program currently also works with about 10,000 payWave-enabled cabs which would make mobile payment a whole lot easier.

I might call Visa tomorrow and get signed up for this.
