So the MTA is starting to add these ticker signs on some subway platforms here in NYC to alert riders to when the next train will arrive at the station. For years, New Yorkers have relied on leaning over the platform edge to see if they could see the light from the approaching train and now it looks like the MTA will soon be helping to make that act a part of NYC transit history.

Under one of these signs on the L line, Jason Eppink of Newmindspace attached a SPOILER ALERT imitation MTA sign to really drive home the message.
