Adobe software can interpret plenoptic lens information to change the focus of a picture

This technology from Adobe looks promising. Using a plenoptic lens — that is, a lens with a bunch of micro-lenses built in — this Adobe software can interpret the information from an image capture and create an infinite depth of field that you can tweak after the image has already been recorded. I’m sure I’m not explaining it in the best way so just watch the video above for a good demonstration of how this might be used in the future.
