ABC News’ John Quinones filmed this segment for What Would You Do? to show how some Americans can be racist without even really thinking about it. In this setup, John gets two actors — one white male and one black male — to play a thief stealing a bike in broad daylight. Although the reactions aren’t from the same people in both scenarios, it’s interesting to note the difference in types of reactions overall based upon the assumptions we make about one particular race (mainly that white people don’t steal and that black people do).
