One of my favorite musical finds of this past year have been a duo from California called Electrolightz. I’ve written about them plenty of times before and I’m still crazy about their music! They make perfect party jams and have even dabbled in remixes of popular tunes on their mixtapes. All in all, they’re a solid group to get behind and if you want a taste of their music for free, I’m giving 2 of their debut albums (It Happened Over Night) out right here for free.
Leave a comment below and tell me why you want this CD. Simple as that. Contest ends Thursday, November 4th and I’ll pick two winners from the comments under this post.
Also, if you’re so inclined, you can follow Electrolightz on Twitter here.
NOTE: Contest open to US residents only. Thanks!
UPDATE: Congrats to Jean and Spencer for winning the CDs!!
I want!!
sooooo stressed out from grad school and I really need some new music to party to :)
Really hope I get this. Does it help that I’m the first an I’m in NYC? lol~
Send it up to Vermont. I’d be sure to throw it on in my dorm or on the ski slopes this winter. I’m in need of some new ski-jamz. It might even get some air time on my radio show 8-10pm Friday nights–tons of listeners on campus at Middlebury!
Send it to me! Your blog got me into their music which ended up getting me in to electronic music!
I would give it to someone else. But if you do decide to throw it my way. I thank you very much. By the way. Love the video for Pictu
Stupid iPad cut me off! I was saying, I love the video for Pictures on the Wall. Very cool. That was shot on the Red Camera right?
Send it to the Cali so I can celebrate us passing Prop 19 or just forget that it didn’t happen… Also because your a fellow google reader user and a lot of the stuff you post on this site I also share on my reader
Reasons you, Herman, should send a copy of the Electrolightz CD to me, Jean:
1. I love Electrolightz (and electrolytes).
2. I enjoy writing papers and studying while listening to house/electronic music because it creates a much more epic (and less stressful) environment. This CD would be the epic CD of epicness.
3. I am a broke college student hoping to save her cashmonies for her spring semester in Washington, D.C.
4. There is so much (unintentional) alliteration in Reason 3.
5. I’ll send you a hand-made thank you card. For realsies.
6. Your website has changed my life. But wait, actually.
I’m moving to Juneau , AK and want to pump this jam while I am driving my car off the ferry.
I’ve just recently discovered Electrolightz and they are amazing!
It would definitely be awesome to actually win this giveaway.
Music is a huge passion of mine. Music brings a smile to my face.
Music is my laughter and joy. Music is my stress reliever.
I walk around school with headphones all the time.
And when that special song comes on, you can’t help but bob your head a little too much, tap your feet a little too loud or even dance a little too crazy!
Electrolightz has that vibe.
Good music is hard to come by.
I would love this Electrolightz CD.
Help keep my frown staying upside down! :)
Good Luck to the rest of the contestants!
Hey, gimmie a copy. its cool.
the cover is awesome. nuff said. XP
Hi! I know I’m not eligible but can you please let me get a copy? I am a big fan from the Philippines and their album is not on sale here! Sad! :( I can’t also afford the CD since it’s in abroad and I’m still a high school student and don’t have a credit card. I hope I get this. I’ve been finding ways to get their album and I found your site. Thank you!!

I want their new album because there music makes me feel great. When I listen to their music it makes me feel like the future is going to be better and all possibilities are open.
I dressed up as a unicorn last night. Unicorns are pretty mystical. This CD looks pretty mystical. Coincidence?? I think not.
Ever since the Mix Tape, I loved how you can switch around the tracks and still have the music flow seamlessly…together with Phoenix, Snow Patrol, Mat Kearney, and Wallflowers, I’d love to expand on my Roadtunes playlist
I never thought I could’ve ever worked out to dance/electronic music, oh how wrong was I…
I REALLY REALLY HOPE TO GET THIS!!!!!!!!
