The Taxi and Limousince Commission (TLC) in NYC has unveiled the 3 finalists for the future of the taxi cab here in NYC. All 3 vehicles — from Ford, Nissan, and a Turkish manufacturer named Karsan — offer increased storage space, leg room, and a much taller roof. The winner of the competition is set to be announced sometime next year, and the winner will then get the exclusive right to supply the entire NYC taxi fleet for 10 years.
I personally would be down with any of these 3 designs. It’s about time we get a more spacious cab.

I wonder how that will change the view of the pedestrian walking down the street.
Right now you can see over 90% of the cabs to the other side, in a couple of years it will be a yellow wall when you look to other side of Madison Avenue.
