One of the things I fear when I’m on a ski lift is that the whole thing will just suddenly fall and collapse to the ground. Some may say that fear is nonsense, but today, that fear became a reality for some! A 35-year-old ski lift at Maine’s Sugarloaf ski resort tumbled to the ground today and injured six people. Yikes. Everybody was ok, but that’ll make me even more nervous now the next time I’m taking a long ride on one of those.

this is a crazy deal, but what I found weird in the reporting is around 40 seconds where the guy says about 50 to 160 people were on the lift at the time.
That is big spread.
Such accidents are just human mistake. There should be proper security measurement to avoid such accident.
