The Big Picture has posted a long post of photos from New Years celebrations all around the world. What interests me the most however is how I can get my hands on a similar bear fur (costume/mask/whatever) seen above worn by children in Romania. This is so awesome!

If you are not able to kill a bear and turn the fur and claws into a mask, ask a taxidermist to make you a mask.
Nice to see someone noticing traditions from my home country. They actually do it as a NYE tradition to help purify souls and fertilize soil in hopes for a better year. The head is usually done by attaching some kind of fur (not bear) to a wooden skeleton, and the body has a cloth layer covered by a brown fur to make it look authentic. keep it up!
