Bates posted this video of a group of guys who had the itch to paint some walls but found themselves in the middle of nowhereland with snow all around them. So what did they do? They found two good sturdy trees and stretched some black plastic between the two trunks and painted that instead. Check out the video below (after the two images).

This would have been a lot less toxic if they used canvas, that way it would last longer between the trees and wouldn’t leave plastic everywhere when it does tear apart.
