A company called Inventist has developed a small Segway-like device called the Solowheel that balances an individual on it using gyroscopic motors and wheels them around freely for up to 2 hours on one charge. The Solowheel apparently only weights 20 pounds and can fold up easily for storage or transport. And if you want one, you’ll be happy to know that this one-wheeled transport device will sell starting next month for just $1500. I’d love to try one of these out. Looks like fun. [via]
