Brush up on your Mac OS X Lion before it gets released this summer by heading over to the Apple website and reading about some of the new and improved aspects of your next Mac OS. The next version of the OS will incorporate some of the core aspects of iOS, like iPad/iPhone-like scrolling on the trackpad (see demo video below) and auto-saving within apps. It will also bring with it some nice usability features like Resume (which allows you to save the state of your computer and apps for a restart), FileVault file and folder security, and Versions (which is like Time Machine for individual documents). All in all, should be good I think. I’ll be happy to stop worrying about saving everything I do on a computer.
