GROG Buff Proof Inks

I posted about these guys before but this photo above makes me really want to give these inks a try. The colors apparently show even when painted over which leaves a nice “ghost”. Let’s see… :)

One Response to GROG Buff Proof Inks

GROG is pretty good. I’ve had good results with the black, and fair with all the others. They claim that it’s fade-resistant, but my “artwork” that happened to be on metal outside faded pretty quickly, I’d say in less than two months I noticed how much it was fading.

On The Run Ink is pretty fade resistant.

It really has to do with what type of resin they end up using. The resin is what makes “permanent” inks “stick” to a surface, as well as the quality of the pigments they use. If the resin can’t hold the pigment to the surface, then guess what happens next…
