Look at this crazy surreal photo by Frans Lanting of a couple of Camel Thorn trees in Namibia. The photo, if you can’t make it out, shows a portion of a large dune in the background lit orange by the sun while the foreground is mostly in shadow.
I wonder what lens he used to get this flatness here. Pretty neat.
