In 60 days, the US Military will officially do away with Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, the current US policy on gays openly serving in the military. The actual repeal was signed back in December 2010 and the document being signed by Barack Obama above certifies that the Military has completed all necessary measures to ensure that the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell repeal will go ahead smoothly by September 20, 2011.
