Whoa, check this out. The former stagnant construction project known as the Ryugyong Hotel in Pyongyang, North Korea has a shiny new facade thanks to a $400 million investment from some Egyptian firm. Now that it’s sort of finished (at least on the outside), it looks a lot better than it did as an abandoned structure. I can only guess what the inside is like — if it’s a hollow shell like the rest of North Korea.
