I just watched this short documentary about a town called Titusville in Florida, just a few miles out from The Kennedy Space Center. The town is largely centered around the space industry and the events of the Space Shuttle launches, but now that the Space Shuttle program is over, the town is in danger of becoming obsolete except for a few Space Shuttle museums and memorabilia outlets. It’s too early to tell what will happen with this small town, but it sounds like residents are already moving elsewhere for greener pastures. [via]
