Why is it badged as a GT? Why would Yamaguchi build a frame with the ridiculous GT triple-triangle geometry? Having a smaller, better company craft frames for racing is a time-honored practice in cycling, but you’re not supposed to blatantly promote it. It’s like the speechwriters’ code – everybody knows speechwriters exist, but the writers will never say what they did or didn’t craft.

Pretty sure it is just an awesome GT
Sorry to tell you that it is NOT a Yamaguchi. I was the National Track Team mechanic that built this frame when new. It is a GT thru and thru.
I need to rephrase the last sentence of my previous post. I built up the bike and did not build the frame. GT built the frame.
Thanks for finally clarifying this one, Boudin. It was chance that I happened to hop over to the site today and look at the Recent Comments list.
