The origins of the Nike Air Max sneaker

Bobby posted this old video from FreshnessMag about designer and architect Tinker Hatfield. Hatfield is responsible for the original see-thru Air Max bubble design which eventually exploded into the mainstream in many of Nike’s sneakers as well as their competitors.

In the video above, you get a rare chance to see some early Air Max designs and also hear from Hatfield himself on where the see-thru design came from (hats off to the George Pompidou Centre).
