I told myself I’d wait a bit, but after finding out that Capture One and Lightroom for some reason run a lot faster on OS X Lion, I was like “Ok, sure, why not?”. Plus, because of some work perks through Apple, I got Lion for free.
So I downloaded OS X Lion just now and I used the free Lion Disk Maker to make a bootable 4GB USB drive with those LaCie MosKeyto flash drives I posted about earlier. It worked like a charm and really made the easy process even easier. Seriously, there was no tech-know-how involved. I just double-clicked the Lion Disk Maker icon.
