How Many Really?: comparing historical events to the number of friends you have on Facebook and Twitter

BBC Dimensions’ site called How Many Really? is incredibly eye-opening and fascinating. Basically, by allowing the site to connect to your Facebook or Twitter account, the BBC breaks down historical events — wars, disasters, civilizations, diseases, modern society, etc. — in an easy-to-swallow number that’s more directly related to the number of friends you have.

Want to know how many of your friends would have died in the Titanic sinking? Or maybe how many of your friends would have survived WWI? Or which friends would have died from the Black Death plague? Well, plug your account in and find out!
