I honestly do not know what the status is of this documentary about Michigan Central Station called Depot, but it looks rather interesting. I went there last year, but this video was shot over 2 years ago by Rick Dolishny. I wonder if he and his team ever finished it…

Hi! This is our project. We shot over 10 hours of dynamic range HD video footage in there, plus 3 hours of interviews… the news at the time was that the Depot was going to come down. Of course, that hasn’t happened yet so we don’t have an ending to our movie. Fingers crossed we can finish it soon. I’d love to share the footage.
We shot over 10 hours in there plus 3+ hours of interviews because at the time of the shooting, Detroit City Council voted to tear it down and send the owner the bill. Of course that didn’t happen, and I’ve got a lovely film without an ending. It’s a remarkable building. So glad we got in.
