A Japanese company named Humanix has manufactured a small golf cart-like vehicle that is made like an airbag on the outside so when its driver accidentally hits people on the road it will supposedly hurt less.
A novel idea, but one that fails in practice because even if you hit someone with a blunt object at relatively high speeds, it’s still going to hurt. Sure, it probably won’t kill you, but it will hurt and you’ll still have to explain why you hit somebody with your car to the police.
