The Fühlometer: a giant emoticon for an entire city

Fuehlometer (Feel-o-meter) by Richard Wilhelmer, Julius von Bismarck, and Benjamin Maus is a large emoticon atop a tower in that uses a camera installed in the city to analyze random people’s faces and show their emotion to the rest of the community. I wish there was something like this in NYC. [via]
