An amazing find coming from The Verge today of a Canon Rebel XS (Canon EOS 1000D) camera that survived an entire year floating in the Pacific Ocean relatively intact. The lens and SD card are damaged but Markus Thompson, who found the camera while diving in Deep Bay, BC, managed to scrape some images off of the card and ended up finding the rightful owner!
