Iconic Facades has a really interesting post about the building on 18th Street and 5th Avenue that now houses an H&M store on street level.
I pass by this building every week and never noticed the balconies shown in the photo above. The site used to house a mansion and was later bought and turned into the Neo-Renaissance style building we see today.
