This was incredible to watch. The video above shows two contestants in the game show known as Golden Balls where each contestant has to choose between a “Split” ball and a “Steal” ball. The rules are explained in the video above and what happens next is just the luckiest thing I have ever seen on any game show. [via]

this is just a prisoner’s dilema problem. the better outcome is if both split.
that guy that said that he was going to steal to ensure that the other guy picks split. assuming what the first guy says is true, he can either take the chance and believe that the guy will split the money after the show or guarantee that he leaves with nothing. that move was actually a pretty smart.
