TDW posted this spectacular link to a Tumblr called Humans of New York that aims to produce a photographic census of New York City. The Humans of New York website features the same portraits on the Tumblr but with more background on some of the images and a map of where photos have already been taken. There’s also some info about the photographer behind the project, Brandon Stanton, and his desire to photograph such a widespread subject matter. Really interesting showcase of the people who are just like you living in NYC.
