This is nothing new. In the 1930s they had flat top cans that used a “church key” to make two holes in the top of flat top cans. One to drink out of and one to vent. Coors had something very similar in the 1970s. It had two round holes in the top that you would press in with your fingers. The larger one was to drink out of and the smaller one was to vent.
Could you not do this with their normal cans? I am just curious if they actually changed the design of the can or if they are just educating unimaginative chuggers.
This is the dumbest damn thing ever. I finally bought in to the hype and tried it. It didn’t work, couldn’t just “punch” thru it like they showed, I tried a small screwdriver, no dice, I tried a punch awl, no dice, finally had to use a big screwdriver on the can, which then promptly spewed beer everywhere. What a buch of fucking morons.
