
I got this idea while watching a video yesterday. It’d be kinda neat to do a series of portraits (of people) where the subject is completely out of focus. Sort of like the photo above.

You could totally do this and sell the project as Conceptual Art. Apply some seemingly intellectual or pseudo-philisophical implications to your intent and VOILA! You can look down your nose at people when they don’t like or understand it. It will be gloriously pretentious.
You probably think I’m being sarcastic or jaded, but I’m completely serious about it working as a project. It captures our fleeting existence in a specific time and space… Portraiture as an elusive endeavor… Conflicts between personality an appearance…
