When I was in Seattle, I was thankful to be able to take a tour of the Theo Chocolate Factory near Fremont. Theo Chocolate is the only fair-trade chocolate maker in the US, in control of the entire chocolate making process from bean to bar. Their efforts are directly linked to farmers, their communities, and the sustainability of the land. And their good work isn’t without good results as their chocolate is certainly some of the best I’ve ever tasted.
