I spent a lot of time yesterday playing with my parents’ Samsung Galaxy S III and ever since I played with the iPhone 4 back in 2010, this is the first time I could remember being completely wow’d by a phone. I don’t get a whole lot of interaction with Android devices on a day to day basis because I use an iPhone myself, but I can definitely say the Android OS has grown up quite a bit since I last used it. It’s fast, fluid, and beautiful — a word that I haven’t actually used lately to describe iOS. I don’t even really care which phone is more powerful spec-wise, I just know that, like many Apple products, the Samsung Galaxy S III really just works. I’m glad such competition exists.
