Just re-created it (minus the hair burning part!) and she is indeed lying. Its not because of the mirror, this girl is pulling a fast one…Try it for yourself and you will see she showed the wrong side of her hair on Ellen.
Plus, your hair will not fall off like that from using a curling iron no matter how long you hold it. It will simply melt.
Totally lying – i love ellen but this was a definate mistake having her on the show. it doesnt matter which way you look at it the girl burnt off the right hand side of her hair and on ellen she was showing the left!!!!

If you have too much product on your hair, or its damaged hair (from using too much heat, etc) It will fall off like that. Experienced myself!!
